Duracon is my go-to for concrete work, I live right on the gulf and we get swamped with salt water everytime the wind blows hard at high tide, and during Hurricane season.... forget about it. We moved here after retiring in 2010, and between then and 2018 I had to do repairs on the foundation 3 times. Since I started using Duracon, or whatever it was called before the dad retired I haven't had any repairs. set up a barrier AND wait for low tide, make sure everything is extra dry, then put a generous coat down, and bam, you're sealed, glad they decided to stay in business, and for whoever at Duracon is reading this, your dad was a great guy and I hope he enjoys the retirement, I used to go to the physical store in Toledo all the time.
I used all kinds of colors from Walmart when I first got into modeling, and was horrified, I had to put so much paint down to get any coverage that I was covering up the features on my models. I soon switched to citadel, and don't get me wrong citadel is good, but I bought one of the Duracon kits off the facebook ad for the older 16 color kit, and the coverage is as good as Citadel, but its just a little bit thinner making it easier for airbrushing, only thing was the wash wasn't as see through as I wanted, but I got ahold of them through email and they got me a fresh wash in 3 days . 5/5
